Morlok, 79, retired Lake Odessa farmer, died Thursday morning at 5 o'clock at Cook's Rest Home in Ionia where he had been a patient for three weeks. He had been in ill health for some time. He was born December 3, 1874, in Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Morlok, and has lived most of his life in the Lake Odessa area. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert Brandt of Route 1, Ionia; one son, Richard of Lake Odessa; two brothers, Carl and John of Lansing and two grandchildren. The body reposes at Pickens funeral chapel where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. George Neiman, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, conducting the services. Burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
