She was born on Jan. 1, 1915, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Zelda Goldman Crystler. She graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1933. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Ava Maria Guild, the VFW Auxiliary and was a devoted wife and mother. She worked as a sales clerk at several stores in downtown Belding and later worked with Al Johnson at the Johnson Funeral Home. She was married on July 2, 1949, in Charlotte, to William E. Morris and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1984. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and John Crystler. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Jane) Morris of Rockford, Daniel (Cherry) Morris of St. Louis, MO; one stepson, Rodney (Rita) Morris of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Kathleen, Annie, John, Erin, Christine and Geoffrey. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Troy A Nevins officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church today from 6 until 8:30 p.m. with a Rosary at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph School.
