ROBERT MORRIS 1950-2017
Robert Morris passed away unexpectedly at his home in San Diego, California July 
14, 2017. Robert was born July 9, 1950, the son of Frederick and Jean (Miller) 
Morris.

Bob attended Lakewood Schools, graduating in 1968, and went on to attend 
Michigan State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Computer 
Science. Bob followed his dream to move to California and lived and worked in 
the San Diego area as a computer software engineer. Bob enjoyed photography, 
high school reunions and preserving rural environments. He was active in the 
Sierra Club serving as a Chapter Treasurer since 2013 and received the Special 
Service Award in June 2016 for exemplary service to the Club.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Parrish; aunts and uncles, Ken and 
Shirley Morris, Glen Jr. and Eleanor Morris, Charles Miller; and sister-in-law, 
Jane M. Morris.

He is survived by his father, Frederick Morris; siblings, Patsy (Dale) Selin, 
Kary Morris, Karl (Lisa) Morris, Dave Morris, Gloria (John) Sorensen, Karen 
(Jonathan) Koetzel; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will take place in San Diego California and a private service 
has taken place here in Lake Odessa Michigan.
