She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Portland, the daughter of Ben and Una Clark Morris. She graduated from Willamston High School in 1941, and from Spring Harbor College in 1943. She trained at Olive Branch Training School in Chicago, and Henroten School of Nursing, also in Chicago In 1952, she was commissioned by the General Mission Board of the Free Methodist Church to go as a missionary to Rhodesia and Burundi. She remained in the missionary service until illness forced her to return to America in January of 1984. She spent more than 30 years of her life laboring with those she chose to help. She is survived by a brother: Lynn A. Morris; one sister; Mrs. June Mead; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Tubscay Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery. The family will be at the Tubscay Chapel Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m..
