                              JOHN MORRIS JR.

John Morris Jr.,passed away in Vista, Calif. on Sept. 24, 2010. He was born in 
Grand Rapids on Dec.8, 1931 the son of John and June (Tyler)Morris Sr., who 
preceded him.

John graduated from Ionia High School in 1949 whee he was active in band and 
choir. He attended the University of Michigan and served in the United States 
Army. He lived in California for the last 40 years working in retail and 
property management.He currently worked for the Social Security Administration 
office in San Marcos, Calif.

John is survived by his sister, Donna Mae and Wayne Cranmer of Belding; nephew 
Wayne Cranmer Jr. and Christine Hopkins of Gowen; great nephews, Tyler, Jacob 
and Christopher; and great-great nieces Allyha and Leanna

John was a member at All Saints Episcopal Church in Vista. He sang in the choir 
and served on the Vestry and was a Junior Warden.

A Memorial service will be held Oct.24 in Vista with Rev. Michael Carr 
officiating.

A special thanks to Rev. Michael Carr, Susan Haynes and all his church family, 
friends from work and area Hospice for their help and support during is. We also 
thank his long time friend Jim Toy from Ann Arbor who came to be with him.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Oct.15 at Balcom Cemetery, Ionia with Pastor 
Bruce Burfield of First Baptist Church, Belding officiating.
