DONNA L. MORRISON
Lake Odessa, MI - Donna L. Morrison, age 79, of Lake Odessa passed away on 
Monday, May 2, 2016 at her daughter's home surrounded by family.

Donna was born on may 8, 1936 in Oneida Twp. to Donald and Veronica (Hoerner) 
DuMund. On September 3, 1955 she married Jim Morrison and he preceded her in 
death in 2015.

Donna along with Jim enjoyed doing craft shows for many years together, along 
with 30 years of winters in Florida. Donna worked for many years as a waitress 
for Bill Knapp's, winning many awards for her service. The family remembers her 
flower gardens and how clean the house always was.

Donna was famous for her love of baking, gifting many baked goods to family, 
friends and neighbors.

She is survived by son, James (Deb) R. Morrison; daughter, Terri (Gordy) Cappon; 
son, Mike Morrison; grandchildren, Craig (Shana) Josh (Chelsey), Trent (Stacie), 
Matt and Samantha; great grandchildren, Zeke, Gabe, Alana, Baylie and Colton; 
sisters, Elaine (Frank) Wells, Theresa Metzmaker and Ellie (Stu) Hebner; adopted 
son, Ken (Cathi) Brodbeck, with family, Wendy, Melanie (Derek Gunn) and Laurie 
(Marv) Patrick.

Preceding Donna in death are her parents and husband, Jim Morrison; siblings, 
Allen Quick, Roy DuMond, Lee DuMond and brother-in-law, Jerry Metzmaker.

Services were held at Koops funeral Chapel on Friday, may 6, 2016. Interment 
took place at Woodland Memorial Park following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 4461 in lake Odessa or Eaton
