March, 2020 Patricia Morrison (Feb.13,1936-Mar.16,2020) Patricia L. Morrison, born in Muskegon, Michigan, to Richard and Louise (Glew) Morrison, "Pat" was raised in Western Michigan where she graduated from Western Michigan University and then became a Home-Ec teacher. She was soon lured to the Pacific Northwest, along with her sister, by the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. She moved to Seattle shortly after her first visit, married and settled into family life. Pat (Franke, while married) loved being a mother and homemaker and was known for her fudge and baked goods. After her children were all in school she became the local rural mail carrier in Kingston, where the family moved in 1970. Eventually, she took a job with the Seattle Police Department from which she retired. In retirement, she enjoyed volunteering with her church and the local heritage society in Woodinville, as well as participating with Daughter's of the American Revolution in Woodinville and Kitsap County, after her move back to Bainbridge Island. She is survived by a daughter, two sons, and a grandson.
