Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Dec 1947

Mrs. Amy Morrison, 78, died at the home of Mrs. Edna Jack, State road, Wednesday
morning at 2:30 o’clock after being in ill health for some time.  She was born in
Ionia county in 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Chambers.  She was the
widow of Charles Morrison of Ionia.  Mrs. Morrison was a member of the Seventh Day
Adventist church.

Her survivors are one sister of Jackson and two nephews, John Morrison of South
Ionia and Roy Morrison of Ionia.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Bradley
funeral home, with the Rev. Eldon Burkett officiating.  Interment will be in the
family lot in Tuttle cemetery.
