MORROW PASSED AWAY FRIDAY Jesse A. Morrow, 73, world war 1 veteran, passes away Friday at the Ionia County Memorial hospital, at Ionia, where had been hospitalized for several days. He had been a patient at the Brink Convalescent Home at Ionia for about four years. Mr. Morrow came to the Odessa township area from Hecla, S. Dakota with his parents L. Jasper and Ellen Morrow when he was 19 years old and has lived in this area since then. He was a member of the American Legion for a number of years and during World War 1 served overseas. Surviving are two sisters Mrs. Vera Sedore and Mrs. Roy (Ethel) Jackson both of Lake Odessa and two brothers, Jasper of Lake Odessa and Howard of Kalamazoo, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with burial in the Lakeside cemetery. Rev. F. J. Fitch officiated.
