Ionia County News, 20 Dec 1951

Ray Morrow, 59, veteran of World War I, died Saturday evening at the Veterans’
hospital, Fort Custer, where he had been a patient for the last six years.  A former
resident and farmer before he went to the hospital.  He was born May 12, 1892, in
Odessa township, the son of Harvey and Julia (Woodard) Morrow.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Pickens chapel with burial in Lakeside
cemetery.  Rev. A.J. Pitman officiated.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Clarence Moe of Lake Odessa; four brothers, Wallace of
Flint, Jess of Elmer N.J., Mack of Pontiac, and Orville of Greenville.
