Henry Morse Died at Home This Morning - Death Follows Recent Stroke of 
Paralysis; Was Seventy-One Years Old - Funeral Services to be Held Sunday - 
Born In Christian Bend District And Had Spent Lifetime In This Vicinity

Henry Morse, 71, died at his farm home one mile north and one-half mile east of 
Collins early this morning following a recent stroke of paralysis.  Funeral 
services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon, in charge of Rev. J.H. 
Stewart, of Portland.

Mr. Morse was well known in Ionia county having spent the 71 years of his 
lifetime in this vicinity.  He was born in the Christian Bend district and on 
May 7, 1898, was united in marriage to Miss Bessie Yeomans who survives.  One 
daughter and one son also survives.  They are Mrs. Vern Alma, of Orange, and 
Roy Morse, of Portland.
