Died at her home in Sylvester, Mecosta Co., Michigan, Friday, June 28, Amanda M.
Morse, aged 57 years and 1 day.

Amanda M. Drew was born in the town of Malone, St. Lawrence Co., N.Y., June 27,
1844, and came to Michigan with her parents when she was eight years old.  She
was married to Edwin R. Morse, Sept. 25, 1864.  To them were born three
children, all of whom remain to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother.  The
deceased was well known in this vicinity, having lived in the townships of
Campbell, Boston and Odessa until four years ago, when the family moved to
Mecosta County.

She had a very wide circle of close friends and acquaintances, having that
lovable disposition which endeared her to all who knew her.  Her death came from
a five days sickness from pneumonia.  The funeral services were conducted by
Rev. J.W. Stacey in the Congregational church of this place, the interment being
in the South Boston cemetery.
