Ionia Sentinel, 12 Jun 1980

Mary Oliva Morse, 82, of 439 Pleasant St., died Tuesday at a Lansing hospital.  
She was born Aug. 26, 1897 in Portland, the daughter of William Dutcher and 
Catherine Gross  She was a retired telephone operator, and a member of the 
Pioneers Club of Michigan Bell.

Her husband, Bernard, preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Richard of Grandville, and John of Stilwell, Ka.; one 
brother, Sylvester Dutcher of Portland; four grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.

A Rosary will be said Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home, Portland.  
Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Patricks Church, the Rev. Fr. 
Donald Weber will officiate.
