The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, February 16, 1944
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock for Mrs. A. M. 
Morse, 87, of 250 East Washington street.  Services were held at the residence 
and officiating minister was Rev. Henry A. Hanson, rector of St. John’s 
Episcopal church, and burial was in Highland Park cemetery.  Pallbearers were 
D. J. Campau, Montgomery Webster, Leslie Sykes, Charles Stevenson, Benton 
Yates, and Dr. F. M. Marsh.  Attending services from away were Judge Lucius 
Babcock of El Reno, Oklahoma, Benton Yates of Croswell and Mr. and Mrs. Emmett 
Shanahan of Grand Rapids.
