Funeral services will be held at the Fales funeral home, Belding, at 2 o’clock Wednesday. Burial will be held at cook’s Corner’s Cemetery. Her husband was a brother of the late judge Allen B. Morse, of Ionia, and was for a time a state representative. She as the mother of the late Mrs. Alfred E. Locke. Besides the son at Cook’s corners, she leaves a son, Rufus, of Grand Rapids. Mrs. Leslie Sykes of Easton is a granddaughter. Another Publication: The Belding Banner, Tuesday, September 8, 1932 Mrs. Emily Morse, 86, passed away at the home of her son, John Morse, at Cook’s Corners, early on Monday morning. Mrs. Morse had been in ill health for the past seven years and during the last three had been confined to her bed. Emily Fisk was the last member of the Joseph Fisk family, having been born in Otisco township and made this her home practically all her life. Funeral services were held from the Fales funeral home in Belding Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. H. S. Ellis officiated and the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in Otisco cemetery. Surviving are two sons, John, of Cook’s Corners, and Rufus, of Grand Rapids, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Gertrude Sykes, living on a farm near Saranac.
