The Portland Observer, Tuesday, November 9, 1909


Mrs. Mary Mortimer died Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Weed, with 
whom she has made her home for a number of years.  Mrs. Mortimer was ill when 
the Weed’s house burned several months ago and had to be carried out.  The 
shock was a great one and she has been failing since that time. Mrs. Mortimer 
was 78 years old.
