Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Sep 1942

Mrs. James Moser, 67, of 401 Price street, died Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 o’clock at
the Hastings Convalescent home.  She had been ill for the past two years and
seriously ill for the past two months.  Julia Moser was born November 19, 1874 in
Ohio.  She was married to James Moser at Stanton in 1936 and had made her home in
Ionia for the past six years.  She was a member of the Baptist church at Hastings.

Surviving her are her husband, James, two sons, Roy Basler of Hastings and Cletus
Basler; one brother, Sylvester Brock, of Hastings.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at __ o’clock at the Leonard
funeral chapel in Hastings.  Pallbearers will be Arthur Moser, Delbert McCartey,
Webb Carr, and Robert McCartey.  Burial will be in Hastings cemetery.
