Lake Odessa – Mrs. Crystal Mosey, 57, of 2836 Pleasant Grove, Lansing died 
Friday morning in a Lansing hospital after several months illness.

Mrs. Mosey was the daughter of Volney and Alice Strong of the Lake Odessa 
area.  She attended Clarksville high school until the last two years and those 
were completed at Lake Odessa high school where she graduated with the class of 
1916.  She was a kindergarten assistant at the school for one year and then 
employed by the local post office for two years during World War I before going 
to Lansing where she was employed by the John Bean Company for 35 years.

Survivors are the husband, Leo, and two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Graham of Lowell and 
Mrs. Nettie Edwards of Battle Creek.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Gorsline-
Runciman funeral home in Lansing.  Burial will be at Lakeside cemetery in Lake 
Odessa.
