Her early life was passed in Bloomer and in 1884 she was united in marriage to Wallace E. Mosher, of Ronald. To this union four sons were born, now young men, Lee aged 26, Stanley aged 22, Burr aged 18 and Edward aged 9. Many years of her married life were spent in Ronald, where her beautiful character won the love and esteem of a large circle of friends. Their removal to Ionia about two years ago was made to relieve her from the care of farm work, as it was known that her health was failing. She went to Ann Arbor for treatment, but she received only temporary benefit, and since then she has gradually grown weaker. The thought of leaving the husband, the three grown sons, the little son Edward, who must grow to manhood bereft of the care of a devoted mother, the aged parents, two bright little grand children, the stricken mother of the home and many other relatives and friends she loved has made the patient struggle for life a brave one. Knowing the terrible suffering she has undergone and seeing the peace that was on her face, as she was laid to rest, we must feel with her that “It is well.” The funeral services were held at o’clock Saturday, conducted by the Rev. A. T. Luther, of Grand Rapids, a friend of the family. Beautiful songs were rendered by Mrs. Maurice Phelps and Mrs. Cressy. Covered with beautiful flowers from lodges, fellow workmen of the husband at the Stafford manufacturing company, relatives, old neighbors and friends, not only a loving tribute to the dead, but bringing a message of sympathy to the stricken family, she was tenderly carried to her last resting place in Highland Park, by her three sons, and three brothers.
