WESLEY L. MOSHER
Wesley L. Mosher, age 75 of Ionia, passed away Jan. 19, 2016, in Ionia. He was 
born Feb. 13, 1940, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Clarence Kooistra and 
Mildred (Hickey) Mosher. Wesley married Janet on June 9, 1990, at Lake, 
Michigan. She passed away Nov. 28, 2015. Wesley served in the coast Guard from 
1959-1963. He worked for the city of Kalamazoo as a police officer and was a 
member of Zion Methodist Church.

Wesley is survived by his children, Theresa (David) Gappa of Gobles and Brian 
(Joelle) Mosher of Lake; step-children, John Steward of Potterville and Rebecca 
(Darin) White of Minnesota; brother, Raymond Kooistra of Wisconsin; sister, 
Norine (Ron) Enz of lake Odessa, seven grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Parents and one brother Gary Mosher.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Lake funeral Home 
in ionia with Pastor Cliff Allen officiating. Interment Balcom Cemetery. 
Visitation will be Saturday 1:30 p.m., until time of service at the funeral 
home. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Methodist church. Online
