Mosier, 82, of route two died Friday at a convalescent home in Lowell. Mrs. Mosier was born September 10, 1885 at Oakwood, Ohio. She had been a resident of the Belding area for the past 35 years. She was a member of Green Corners Baptist Church. Mrs. Mosier was married to William T. Mosier at Stanton November 24, 1904. He preceded her in death in 1961. A son, Ford Mosier was killed while service with the U. S. Army in Sicily in 1943. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Burton (Maxine) Hill of Belding, two sons Clyde of Stanton and LaVern on Ionia, three sisters, Mrs. Ella Reinhardt of Lyons, Mrs. Jennie Robinson of Morrice and Mrs. Goldie Mulnix of Saranac, two brothers John and Ezra Cochrun of Ionia, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Sickler officiating. Interment was in Orleans Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Furman, Albert Furman, James Robertson , Richard Mosier, Ronald Hill and Mark Denman.
