Ionia Sentinel Standard
                    ROY MOSSON

   LAKE ODESSA - Roy Mosson, 85, of Route 2, Clarksville Road, Lake Odessa, died
Monday at the Ionia 
Mannor.

   He was born Jan. 15, 1902, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., the son of John and Jane
Mosson.  He attended 
school in the Sault.

   He married Iva Setchfield on Sept. 12, 1923, in Ionia.  She preceded him in death
May 30, 1984.

   He lived and farmed in the Ionia area most of his life and was a member of the
Ionia County Farm Bureau.

   Surviving are four daughters, Jeanne Metzig of Oshkosh, Wisc., Lillian Van Wynen
of South Haven, Helen 
Towersey of Ionia and Margaret (Peg) Cusack of Lake Odessa; one son Robert Mosson of
Lake Odessa,19 
grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters
preceded him in death.

   Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel in
Lake Odessa, the Rev. Kathryn 
Williams of the Easton United Methodist Church officiating.

   Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.

   A memorial has been established for the Lake Odessa Library, in care of the
funeral home.
