Lake Odessa Wave-Times-March 1, 1905

Nancy Hoover was born in Ohio 1823 and died on February 23rd, 1905. She was married
to David Mote over 62 years ago and they moved to Michigan about 36 years ago settling
on a farm in Campbell, which was their home until the death of Mr.Mote, two years ago. 

She was converted to the Christian faith Sixty years ago and has been a devoted
member of the Dunkard church during this time and was a worker in the same up to a few
years back, when old age and disease overtook her. She was much loved and respected in her
life and a host of sorrowing friends followed her remains to its last resting
place.

The deceased leaves five children, three boys, Manuel, John and Anderson, Mrs. M. B.
Tobias and Mrs. Ben Hulliberger, all of whom live near the old home. She also leaves
13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 
 
The funeral was held at the old Dunkard church, Sunday, Rev. Rairigh conducted the 
ceremony.
