Lake Odessa Wave - March 16, 1961
          MAXINE MOTE 58, DIED IN LANSING
   Miss Maxine Mote, 58, of Lansing passed away at Sparrow hospital, after suffering
a cerebral hemorrhage at 
her home,  February 15.  She never regained consciousness.  She was a former
Clarksville area resident, and a 
graduate of the Lake Odessa high school and was employed by the Home Office of the
Michigan Farm Bureau
   Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Beebe of Lansing with whom she lived and
Mrs. Hazel Hammond of 
Kalamazoo.  Her aunt Miss Verda Gattner who also had resided with the sisters passed
away about eight 
weeks ago.
   Funeral services were held at the Estes Leadley Colonial Chapel, Lansing with
burial in Lakeside cemetery, 
Lake Odessa.
