She had been hospitalized one day. Mrs. Mote was born January 7, 1871 at Bear Lake in Manistee county, the daughter of Theron and Almena Holloway Tillson. She was the widow of Dr. Perry Hines who practiced dentistry in Lake Odessa for many years until his death in 1934. Mrs. Mote married David Mote in 1940 and continued to live in Lake Odessa until his death in 1954. Since then she has resided with her children and relatives in Eaton Rapids and for the past nine months had lived with her son Gail Hines in Lansing. Surviving besides Gail, are two daughters, Mrs. George (Edith)Brown of Dunedin, Florida; and Mrs. James (Lucile) Fitzpatrick of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one brother, John A. Tillson of Pontiac. Funeral service will be at the Pickens funeral chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Nora S. Hines of Lansing Unity Chapel will officiate and burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
