The Ionia Sentinel, Friday, July 2, 1915


Mrs. Johanna Shilling Motzer, 81 years old, died at her home this morning of 
senile catarrhal bronchitis.  Funeral from the residence, 309 Rice street, 
Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. C. F. Giese officiating.  Interment in Oak 
Hill.  

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Fred Lauster, Sr., Mrs. Tena Pickhaver of South 
Bend, Ind., Misses Kate and Bertha Motzer, and one son, George.
