Moulton, 83, formerly of 120 South Jackson St., died Thursday evening at Ionia Manor where he had been a patient for the past 7 ½ years. He was born in Mecosta county, the son of George and Jennie French Moulton. Mr. Moulton took special courses at Ferris Institute and served with the US Army during World War I. He married the former Marian Lauster at St. John’s Episcopal church in Ionia in 1925. They made their home in Ionia most of their married life and she preceded him in death January 1, 1955. Mr. Moulton was employed at AC Spark Plug in Ionia during World War II and for many years as a janitor at Locks Ionia Hotel before retiring. Survivors include two sons, Raymond of Ionia and Thomas of Walnut Creek, California; one daughter Mrs. William (Elsie) Vaughan of Lansing; one brother, Bruce of Jackson three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services are Monday at 10 a.m. from St. John’s Episcopal church with Fr. Ray E. Roberts officiating. Burial is in River Ridge cemetery in Belding.
