Mrs. Elmer Moulton Called – Her Husband Thought she was Sleeping. Leonora Moulton, the wife of Elmer Moulton, was suddenly called to her last reward early Tuesday morning. She went to bed the night previous feeling as well as usual, although her health has not been good for several months. Her niece, Florence May, a girl of 11 years, retired with her and Mr. Moulton slept in an adjoining room on the couch. In the morning the girl awoke and found Mrs. Moulton’s arm across her and removing it discovered she could not move and hastily got up and left the room being so frightened that she did not call Mr. Moulton. Soon afterwards he went into the room and found life extinct and the body still warm which lay as if peacefully sleeping. Mrs. Moulton was the daughter of John Pfiefer of Lyons, was 25 years old and was married to Mr. Moulton in Lyons seven years ago. She joined the L.O.T.M. order and carried a beneficiary certificate for $1,000. The funeral and burial was held this morning in Ionia to which place the remains were taken. Mr. Moulton and the relatives have the sympathy of all in their sudden bereavement.
