            LEWIS C. MOURER DIES AT BLANCHARD HOME
                                      ---------------
          SON OF LATE REV. ISAAC MOURER. LEAVES WIDOW, 
      TWO SONS AND TWO DAUGHTERS. BURIAL AT LAKESIDE
                                      ---------------  
   Lewis C. Mourer, 81, died at his farm home near Blanchard Thursday, Jan. 23.  He
had been in poor health 
for two years.  He was born in Ohio, the son of Rev. and mrs. Il. H. Mourer. He
lived in this vicinity until 27 
years ago, when he moved to his farm two miles north of Blanchard.
   Surviving are the widow, Jessie;  two sons, Rev. Charles Mourer of Cincinnati,
Ohio, and Royal of Elizabeth, 
N. J. ; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Blackmore of New York city and Mrs. Mildred Parker
of Port Sanilac; six 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   Funeral was held Saturday at the home.  Burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake
Odessa.
