W.E. Gibbs, at the house Sunday afternoon, at 1:30 o’clock, his text being from I Corinthians, 15:55. The floral tributes from relatives and friends were many and very beautiful. Mr. Mowry and family wish to thank all who so kindly helped them through the sickness and death of their beloved daughter who is now sleeping in the arms of Jesus. Manda Amelia Mowry was born in the town of Blendon, Ottawa county, Michigan, March 21, 1882, and passed away Saturday morning, September 9, 1899, aged 17 years, 5 months and 20 days. She had been sick six months with consumption, from which she suffered greatly but patiently till death came to relieve her. She was a helpless invalid for seven years, caused by a fall when 5 years of age.
