She had long been a semi-invalid, but was forbearing through it all. Mr. and Mrs. Mueller were among the best citizens of the German settlement in northeastern section of the city. They are natives of Germany, where they were married, but have been respected residents of Ionia nearly a quarter century. The husband and four children survive the good mother: Mrs. William Speckin, Mrs. Carl Bilow, and Frank and Fred. Funeral on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, from St. John’s Lutheran church, where they had so long and so faithfully worshipped. Rev. B.H. Succop will officiate. ------------ Ionia Daily Sentinel, 20 Feb 1907 The funeral for Mrs. Frederick Miller was largely attended Tuesday afternoon from St. John’s Lutheran church, Rev. H.B. Succop officiating. The church was filled with relatives and friends, a testimonial of the high regard for the deceased, who with Mr. Miller were among the older residents of the German population. The pall bearers wee William Woodrick, George Stahl, Fred Bielow and William Warnke, and the interment was in Highland Park cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were born and married in Germany and came to this city 24 years ago. In the Lutheran parish they have been loyal workers and the death of Mrs. Miller will be keenly felt. Besides the husband there are four surviving children, Mrs. William Speckin, Mrs. Carl Bielow and Fred and Frank Miller. The deceased had been failing for two years, but for two months was in a critical condition.
