Death of Mrs. John Mueller.

Mrs. John Mueller widow of the late John Mueller died about noon today, at her home
on Jones street after suffering a year from dropsy.  Mrs. Mueller was one of the
pioneers of the German residents of Ionia coming here with her husband from Germany
fully 35 years ago.  Since that time she has been a resident here.  Mr. Mueller died
about five years ago.

Mrs. Mueller was the mother of a large family, five of the nine children still
living.  Those who survive are Mrs. Fred Speckin, Miss Mary Mueller, Mrs. Otto
Grams, Miss Lena Mueller, and Fred Mueller, all of whom live here.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried
in Highland Park Cemetery.]
