Dorothy (Penich) Muennich died April 1, 2015 at the age of 95 at Mother Teresa House
in Lansing, Michigan.  She was a resident of Portland since 1997, formerly of
Youngstown, OH.  Dorothy was born February 7, 1920 in Edinburg, PA.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Silverius J. Muennich who died in 1999 and
siblings Barbra, Peter, Angeline, Paul, Mary, John, Catherine and Alex (or four
brothers and four sisters).  She is survived by her sister Anna Freeland of OH, as
well as her son Walter (Nancy) Muennich of AZ and daughter Rose Marie Nephew
Muennich of MI; seven grandchildren including John (Chelsea) Nephew, Louis (Sarah)
Nephew, and Andrew Nephew; eight great grandchildren, and special friend Jessica
Kuch.

Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, OH at 10:00
a.m. on April 9 with Rev. Fr. Edward Noga as the Presider with interment at Lisbon,
OH Cemetery.  Donations may be made to St. Patrick Church, Portland, MI, Mother
Teresa House or Hospice of Lansing.
