May 10, 2018 Robert Jack Mulder, 76, of Hastings, passed away May 6, 2018, at his residence surrounded by family. Robert was born on Feb. 9, 1942, in Grand Rapids, the son of Bernard and Gertrude (Kloss) Mulder. He attended Grandville High School, graduating in 1959. He honorably served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne, Screaming Eagles from 1959 to 1962. Bob married Norma Gail Gregory on July 27, 1974. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Gertrude Mulder. He is survived by his wife Norma Mulder of Hastings, children; Marilou (Christopher) Chambers of Hopkins, Gregory Todd Mulder of Muskegon and Andrew Gregory (Heather) Adams of Harrietta, grandchildren; Cory Mulder of Middleville, Michelle (Domonic) Scheffler of Fennville, Brandon (Hannah) Mulder of Yuma, Ariz., Kristin (Blake)Bosworth of Munising, Grace Adams of Sahuarita, Ariz., and Josh Mulder of Kalamazoo and four great grandchildren, sister, Berniss (Mulder) Young of Wayland and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday; May 26, at the Elks Lodge, 102 E. Woodlawn Ave., Hastings, MI from 12-4 p.m. Military Honors will take place at 12 p.m., provided by American Legion Post #45 and Active Military. Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.
