Geraldine Mulligan, age 82, of Lyons passed away September 13, 2004 at her 
home.  She was born June 27, 1922 in Chelsea Twp. the daughter of Harold and 
Myrtle (Hopkins) Devers.  She married Leonard Mulligan December 23, 1944 in 
Maple Rapids, Mich.

She is survived by her sons; Harold Ray Mulligan of Lyons, Michael L. Mulligan 
of Fenwick; daughters, Loretta Price of Pewamo, Shirley (Kenneth) Delaney of 
Pewamo, Frances (Wayne) Cramer of Lyons, Winona (William) Witkop of Birch Run, 
Jennie Newman of Ionia; daughter-in-law Joann Mulligan of St. Johns; brother 
Wilford (Marie) Devers of Lyons; sisters Arwilda “Willie” Loomis of Montague, 
Awanda Mae Cramer of Florida, Lillian VanVolkenburg of Flushing; 15 
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard on September 16, 1984, two 
brothers; John Devers, William Devers; two sisters Charlotte Mulligan, Frances 
Keilman and half brother Ernest Clark.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, at Lyons Baptist Church with 
Pastor Gary Akright officiating.  Interment will take place in Payne Cemetery 
in Maple Rapids.  Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m. at Lake 
Funeral Home in Muir.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to St. 
Johns Hospice.
