                            STEPHANIE RAY "SAM" MULLIGAN

IONIA- Stephanie Ray "Sam" Mulligan, 35, of 7822 Elmwood, Portland, died Sunday 
morning in an automobile accident.

She was born on March 22, 1944 in Queens,N.Y., the daughter of Edwin and 
Virginia Coote.

She came to the Owosso area in 1962 and the Lyons-Portland area in 1967.

She was a foreman at the Lyons Chrysler Trim Plant.

Survivors include her parents,Mr.and Mrs.Edwin Coote of Pompton Plains,N.J; a 
son Leonard E. of Portland; a daughter, Teal Marie of Portland; and a 
sister,Jacqueline Waldron of Rutherford, N.J.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir 
with the Rev. Ronald Lahr of the Portland Congregational Church officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
