Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Aug 1979

Stanley E. Mulligan, 63, of 617 W. Riverside Drive, died Monday evening at the
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.    Born Nov. 10, 1915 in Lansing, he was the son
of Ray and Mary C. Hoyer Mulligan.

A resident of Ionia for the past seven years, he was a resident of Grand Rapids
prior to that, where he was employed by Rapid-Stan Corporation.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the army.

Survivors include a half-brother, Bernard Clark, of Ionia; one brother, Leonard
Mulligan, of Lyons; one step brother, Ernest Clark, of Sand Lake; one step
sister, Arwilda Loomis, of Lake City; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Byron Shook of the Free Methodist Church officiating. 
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  The family will be at the funeral
home today and Wednesday evenings from 7-9 to receive friends and relatives.
