Mrs. Mulliken was born in Rochester, N.Y., December 25, 1909 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kirshenbaum. September 4, 1935 she married Charles Mulliken of Hastings in Chicago. They spent the first year of their marriage in Chicago while Mr. Mulliken was in the United States service. In 1946 they came to Woodland after World War II where she had been employed by the state of Michigan since August of 1965 and until her death was employed in the office of secretary of state. Surviving are her husband, Charles; a daughter, Terrie Irene, a student at Western Michigan University; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Bernstein and Victoria Kippeman; three brothers, Meyer, Eli and Nathan Kirshenbaum, all of Chicago. Funeral services will be at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa, Thursday at 1:30 pm. Rev. Richard VandenBosch of Methodist church in Woodland will officiate with burial in Riverside cemetery, Hastings.
