Mulnix, 51, of Bradenton, Fla., died May 22 at the Blake Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1928 in Lyons, Mich., the son of Leon and Goldie Coehrun Mulnix. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was married to Lois Abbey of Barryton, Mich. They moved to Saranac in 1960. He worked as a salesman and also had a barbershop. In 1974 he moved to Bradenton, Fla., where he was assistant manager of thr Foodway Market in Holmes Beach, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Lois; a daughter, Brenda Cole, of Bradenton; a son, Bruce of Saranac; his mother, Goldie Mulnix of Ionia; a brother, Lyle of Durand; a sister, Anna Potter of Midland; and two grandchildren.
