MonaJean Mulnix, 78, of Ionia, passed away Feb. 18, 2013 in Ionia. She was born 
July 2, 1934 in Ionia the daughter of Bart and Iva (Pinkston) Flint.

MonaJan married Gerald Mulnix on May 18, 1974 in Ionia.

MonaJean is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gerald Mulnix of Ionia; 
children, Trina Stanton of Laingsburg, Brenda Stanton of Ionia, Cindy (David) 
Kerr of Ionia, and Troy Stanton of Ionia; grandchildren, Sherry Atherton, Kim 
Atherton, Ken Atherton, Chad Stanton, Nicole Stanton, Summer Sprague, Dehdra 
Stanton, Bryant Stanton, Kailyn Stanton, Angie Leland, and Adam Kerr; half-
sister, Phyllis (Don) Pinkston of Perry; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Delbert; grandchild Haley Stanton; sister 
Lela Zimmer; and brothers, Stanley, Archie and Chet Lewis.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. at Resurrection Life 
of Ionia with Pastor John Prominksi officiating. Visitation will be held 
Saturday, Feb. 23, 9 a.m. till time of service. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her family. Arrangements by 
Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Online condolences may be made at
