Robert T. Munday, 87, of Saranac, formerly of Ionia and Belding, passed away 
on Sunday, May 11, 2003.  He was born on July 25, 1915 in Battle Creek.  He 
married Janet Ruth Sowles from Portland on August 29, 1937 and she passed away 
in 1985.  

Robert retired from Detroit Gasket of Belding in 1980 after 39 years of 
service.

Surviving are a son, Robert J. (Judy) Munday of Stevensville; daughter, 
Barbara Apadoca of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Onar Lampman of Grand Rapids; six 
grand children and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Kendall Harger, Associate 
Pastor of Shiloh Community Church, at 11 a.m. today, May 13, 2003, at Tuttle 
Cemetery, Ionia.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to 
the Ionia Area Hospice, in memory of Robert T. Munday.  Arrangements are 
entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Cook Chapel, Ionia.
