Father of Ten Children Passes Away suddenly
August Mundt, 83, Dead; Funeral and Interment Wednesday afternoon At Hart

The funeral of August Mundt, 83, who passed away at the home of his son, William
Mundt, 476 Rice street, last Friday evening, was held on Tuesday morning at 8
o’clock, with Rev. W.F. Kendrick, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge.  The
body was taken to Hart for another service on Wednesday afternoon and interment in
Hart cemetery.

He is survived by 10 children, Ralph, of Brutus; Mrs. Louise Sumner, of Flint;
William, of Ionia; Mrs. Tillie Schaffner, of Hart; Benjamin, of Muskegon; Mrs. Rose
Dennis, of Detroit; Mrs. Lena Horton, of Chicago; Charles of Newberry and Mrs. Alma
Weeks of Hart.
