Ionia Daily Sentinel, 28 Jan 1942

Following an illness of several months, Mrs. Amanda E. Munger died Wednesday 
morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Comstock near Palo.  Born in 
1879 she lived all her life in Montcalm and Ionia counties.  She was born near 
Sheridan.  For the past 17 years she had been a resident of Ionia.  She 
attended the Ionia Church of Christ and was a member of the Mrs. T. B. Preston 
class of the church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Robert Comstock.  Interment will be at Clear Lake cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, Peter Munger; one daughter, Mrs. Comstock; a grand 
daughter, a brother, George Regis of Los Angeles, California; and a sister, 
Mrs. Laura Engelman, of Grand Rapids.
