Munger, 72, Fenwick, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, in Homestead, Fla. He was born April 24, 1925, in Fenwick to Robert and Ruth Piper Munger. He graduated from Ionia High School with the class of 1942. Mr. Munger retired from Extruded Metals after 33 years and was a dedicated farmer for 58 years. He was a member of Shiloh Community Church. He was married on Aug. 19, 1955, at Home Lutheran Church at Turk Lake to Elenore M. Martin. She survives. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Munger, Roy and Connie Munger, all of Ionia; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Marion Brimmer, Violet Miers, both of Muir, Linda and Fred Nelson of Perrington; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two children in infancy, Chyrl Ann and Gary Allen; and one son, Rodney Munger, in 1972. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Community Church; with Pastors Kenneth and Kendall Harger officiating. Interment will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery, Fenwick. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Belding. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Community Church.
