Jane A. Munger, 71, of 928 Strong Rd., Ionia, died at Butterworth Hospital 
Saturday morning.  She was born in Keene Township Oct. 21, 1910, the daughter 
of James and Eva Carr Tefft.  She was a member of Easton United Methodist 
Church and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Saranac.  

She married Robert Munger on Feb. 28, 1928 in Ionia.  He preceded her in death 
in 1980.  She is survived by two sons, Robert and Roy Munger of Ionia; one 
stepson, Glen Munger of Fenwick; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Violet) Meir of 
Ionia; and Mrs. Fred (Linda) Neilson of St. Johns; and one step daughter, Mrs. 
Otto Marion Bremmer of Muir.

Also surviving are two brothers, Lee Tefft of Iron River and Burt Tefft of 
Belding; three sisters, Mrs. James (Agnes) VanHeulen of Byron Center; Mrs. Guy 
(Emma) Rickert of Saranac; and Mrs. Clare (Helen) Berndt of Saranac; fifteen 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Three brothers and one sister 
preceded her in death.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Eldon Schram officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family 
will receive friends and relatives on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
