Jan. 3, 1946 Mrs. Jennie Munn, 81, died quite suddenly Monday evening, Dec. 31, at the home of Mrs. Emma Farthing in Muir. Mrs. Munn was with Mrs. Farthing as nurse- companion and had not been ill. She was born January 8, 1865, in Frittenden Kent County, England, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Smith Busbridge. Her marriage to Eli Munn occurred on May 10, 1885, in England, and soon after they came to Michigan and made their home near Carson City where they lived for sixteen years. The then bought a farm in Ronald Township, near Woodard Lake, where Mr. Munn died seventeen years ago. Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Munn has done private nursing throughout the county. Surviving her are two sons and three daughters, Sidney of Ronald, Charles of Muskegon; Mrs. Clifton Cantelou of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Glenn Eitnear, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Maurice Malone of Detroit. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and five sisters and one brother, living in England. Rev. Paul L. Stewart will conduct the funeral service, which will be from the Stone funeral home at two o’clock Friday afternoon, Jan. 4. Burial will be in Woodard Lake cemetery.
