Robert L. Munson, 58, formerly of Portland, died May 28, 1993, in Geraldton, 
Ontario.  He was born in Lansing on Jan. 24, 1935, the son of Clifford and 
Lelah (Roberts) Munson.  He was a retired Oldsmobile tool and die maker.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon; three daughters, Mary (Scott) Rabakon of 
Albion, Elizabeth (Robert) Dygas of Ravenna, and Ann Altringer of Jupiter, 
Fla.; son, Frederic (Tina) Munson of Barrington, M.J.; 10 grandchildren; one 
stepson, Todd Moore of Madison Heights; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Moore of 
Grand Ledge; and one brother, Gary (Anna) Munson of Delton.  He was preceded 
in death by his parents and sister, Joanne Thompson.

Services were held June 2 at Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland, with 
Rev. Dennis Dubendorf of the Church of the Nazarene officiating.  Interment in 
Chapel Hill Memorial Garden of Lansing.
