Belding - David E. Munson, 86, 622 E. Ellis Ave., Belding, passed away Friday,
April 25, 1997, at Kent Community Hospital, Grand Rapids.  He was born Sept. 16,
1910, in Marion, to Alfred and Ella Dennis Munson.  He was employed at Gibson
Products Corp. from 1952 until 1975.  He was a former member of Montcalm County
Sheriff’s Posse.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Green Munson of Belding; six daughters and
five sons-in-law, Aletia and Don Bruno of Springport, Mary and Rex Cline of
Lansing, Barbara and Floyd Williams of Marion, Wanetia and Al Mathews of Sparta,
Marsha and Rex Mathewson of Sheridan, Fredia Munson of Belding; one
stepdaughter, Kit and Bill Nicholas of Lansing; two step-sons, Sam and Marie
Cobb, Mike and Pat Cobb, all of Lansing; 13 grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren, 15 stepgrandchildren , and 18 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor John Paepke Sr. officiating.  Interment will be in Rest
Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. at the funeral home.
