The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 9, 1951

John W. Murphy, 85, lifelong resident of Belding, died at an Ionia 
convalescent home Saturday evening.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the St. Joseph’s 
church at Belding.  Interment will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery.  The body was 
removed to the Fales-Huffman funeral home.  Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. 
Tuesday at the Fales-Huffman funeral home.

He leaves the wife, Susan; three daughters, Mrs. Leon Teresklewize of Grand 
Rapids, Mrs. Ethel Tresckiwize of Belding and Mrs. Luella Burns of Belding; 
three sons, Joseph, Edward and Clyde, all of Belding, and six grandchildren.
