The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 5, 1965


Funeral service for Edward Murphy, 64, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. 
Joseph Catholic church in Belding. 

Mr. Murphy, who had been a resident of Ionia county all his life, died 
Saturday at Ionia County Memorial hospital.  At the time of his death he 
resided near Saranac.  He was born in Cannon township, Kent county, June 6, 
1900 and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church of Ionia.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Leola Tereskiewicz of Grand Rapids, Mrs. 
Luella Hogan and Mrs. Ethel Tereskiewicz of Belding; two brothers, Joseph of 
Belding and Clyde of Ionia.

Rosary will be recited at Huffman funeral home Monday evening at 8 o’clock.  
Rev. Fr. Charles F. Steves will officiate and interment will be at St. Joseph 
cemetery.
